London-based duo Anaphase have been homing in on a truly unique sound which is shown in full on ‘Accordia’, their latest single. Managing to bring a classical sensibility to a track built on ambient sound and luscious electronics is an impressive gift, with a layer of darkness persisting throughout. The lyrics support this: “The lyrics are about corruption in the world, the amount of times we've been lied to by people in power. It's also about what that does to you on a personal level. How we can become tainted and twisted by people around us in our lives, if we're not careful.” The pair have released two addictive remixes alongside the single itself, and we hope to see their talents blended in even more impressive ways in the coming months. - Dan Peeke
